Darm activ

Darm activ is a water-soluble, non-swelling fiber product with inulin, lactulose and lactic acid bacteria to increase stool frequency so assists with regular bowel movements, and thus support healthy intestinal function. Darm activ contains inulin, lactulose, 2 bifidus strains and 2 lactobacillus strains (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus casei).

The inulin contained in Darm activ* is a natural substance from chicory.  Chicory contains a particularly high proportion of inulin. For humans, inulin is a dietary fibre because it cannot be digested in the small intestine. It can only be broken down in the large intestine by the bacteria of the healthy intestinal flora. There it serves as food primarily for the bifidus and lactobacilli. We want to feed the good bacteria so this is useful. The desired metabolic products of the intestinal bacteria that are created when inulin is broken down stimulate the movements of the large intestine, increase stool frequency and thus naturally support normal bowel movements. Intake of inulin therefore contributes to normal intestinal function.

Dr Wolz Darm activ is the perfect product to assist a healthy response to bowel discomfort.

Darm active is a water-soluble, non-swelling dietary fibre product with inulin, lactulose and lactic acid bacteria for regular bowel movements through a healthy intestinal function. Inulin is a dietary fibere because it can not be digested in the small intestine. In the large intestine it is degraded by the bacteria in the healthy intestinal flora. There it serves primarily as a nutrient for the bifidus and lactobacilli. The metabolic products that are produced during the degradation of inulin stimulate the movements of the large intestine. This results in an increase of stool frequency and thus, prevents constipation naturally. Darm activ contributes to a normal intestinal function.

Due to the microbiological active principle, the consumption of Darm activ should be increased slowly. Start with one measuring spoon (about 6 g) and increase the daily amount individually, for example one spoon more each week, until you feel the optimal effect. Some people may take a longer time than one week between increasing the dose. The recommended daily intake is three flat measuring spoons (= 19 g). Stir those into 200 ml of liquid of your choice or into 200 g soft food until the powder has dissolved. A rapid increase can cause flatulence ( wind, gas) as the large intestine flora has not yet adjusted to Darm activ. Stay at the dose that does not give you flatulence for awhile longer, and then try to increase again.
